The Locanda Toscanini in Southern Chianti (Tuscany) is the recently renovated boutique hotel, where the famous conductor Arturo Toscanini sojourned in the 1930s.
Now guests can stay in the nine rooms (with some original furnishings) where Toscanini and his entourage enjoyed the calm beauty and great food of rural Tuscany. The historic home and its former olive mill - now an events room and restaurant - is located in the rural village of Piazze, just outside of charming medieval town of Cetona in the Siena (Tuscany) region. The Locanda has an events room for up to 50 people - ideal for small conferences receptions or family get-togethers - a living room and media room, as well as a small gym. It's the perfect spot for trevellers looking for simple elegance in a family-like atmosphere.
